Amanda Gorman

Amanda Gorman was the first poet to perform at the Super Bowl and recently spoke at President Joe Biden’s inauguration on January 20. During her Super Bowl speech, she highlighted three individuals for their leadership. At the inauguration, she presented her poem, “The Hill We Climb.” Gorman is also the first National Youth Poet Laurette and LA Youth Poet Laureate.

Naomi Osaka wins the Australian Open Women’s title!

Previously, Osaka entered the Australian Open, ranked as Number 3 globally for Women’s Tennis. She defeated renowned Serena Williams in the semi-finals, then won the tournament to regain her position as Number 1 in the world. Osaka went home proud with her fourth Grand Slam title.
